I use pachysandra around the trees along with vinca and blue rug junipers. Vinca can take over so you have to watch it. Pachysandra will try to spread into the lawn but triclopyr will knock it out. I love the look of pachysandra.

This is becoming the norm around here. Getting old, pissing everyone off. 21-2200hrs is the norm for getting off nowadays. The satellites are starting at 11. Whispers now about a 10am start.

How many times do you think that lawn had to have been gone over to get that look. Too much damn effort. I'd hire some lawn pro punk for $5 to mow and whack. That would be the extent of my involvement with the lawn.
