Probably would have done the same thing, I don't want a known rabies carrier in confined quarters with me. 30% of rabies cases are from racoons.

He shouldn’t be in any kind of trouble with anyone. Any person with even half a brain would’ve done the same thing. It’s sad for the raccoon, but come on, he had no way of knowing whether it was rabid or not. At that point it’s about survival.
