Seriously-how many people pay for HBO. We get it free for a week or so about 4 times a year and to be honest there isn't anything worth watching on the premium movie channels either. Same shows over and over and over and over---boring.
HBO and Showtime have always found a niche for gaining subscribers for popular shows. Think about how long those two have been around and you might understand they are doing something right.

HBO is what Netflix is trying to become now.

They produced the most iconic shows of my lifetime. Sopranos, GoT, sex and the city, Oz, the wire and Mr. Show. They were one of the best premium channels you could get, they took power away from advertisers and bank rolled artist’s vision(boobs on tv).

They bundle everything so you don't even know what you are paying for.

They are also doing a reality show with a bunch of competing plumbers.
History Channel is going to do one with people butchering pigs. Another one of their shows based on the Top Chef format. Way beyond market saturation. I thought it was a joke when I heard about that one.

Should have paid cash, used no credit cards, and worked through college, perhaps Community College. Also, watch what major you choose, or perhaps pick a trade?

She at 32 could have a good job, a home and two kids.
My daughter and her boyfriend are taking some classes this summer at our community college because the classes are half the price of the university they’re going to and also because it will help them graduate earlier. They’ve realized that the only thing that will matter is the name on their diploma. No one will ask where they took all their classes.
