Apparently this is in the town. Last year was at the lake. But all the surrounding towns are affected because they all feed from the same system.

Yep. Crazy part is about 5 years ago there was a big stink about them raising the price of water service in that “city”. Know what they did with the money? Instead of starting to replace the water system, they put these brand new in signs up in “new town” to make themselves feel relevant. Meanwhile, they’re chasing the problem of the water lines being 100 years old and falling apart around the “city” by using temp fixes to get by.

Are they having water brought in?

Not sure what they’re doing honestly. The leak drained the water tower and the conservancy district was pumping extra water to the system. They couldn’t pump it fast enough so they were essentially pumping water straight into the ground.

That place is ran by idiots. The only reason I’m meddling in it is because my mom’s affected by it and my buddy works for the city so he’s keeping me posted. Lol
