I have. We were standing outside a bar one evening watching the sky and listening to the tornado sirens blasting away and a cop drove up and told us to get back inside and take shelter. We took that as go back inside and continue drinking.

Nope.
I'm from the south, but still live in a city. They frown on that in the backyard.
I only shot one shotgun and I was about 16. It was a homemade 8 gauge. My friends Dad had his own blacksmith shop and used to make his own guns, and I went camping with them once and shot it off.
Had a bruise on my shoulder and chest for about a week from the kick on that thing....that was my last time shooting a shotgun
