Here it’s because the contractors don’t want to work nights and there are also rules on what time you can be on certain roads. If it’s something big like resurfacing they will do it at night

Lot of times they’ll do it 24/7 on real busy roads. It depending on what they’re doing temps can be an issue too.

To tell you the truth, there IS no good day to do work on that road. Friday is the worst day though.
