I have those too. They don't bother me. Good for when you don't need to do a lot of trimming.

I hated those reel mowers as a kid.
I cut yards from 10 - 14 to get money.
2 of the customers had zoysia/bermuda and they had a reel mower ... damn thing would wear me out!
I imagine they are self-propelled these days.

I’ve got a cousin that mows 35 acres like this.
