I saw a young woman today in something like this working the service desk at a grocery store. Wheelchair thing aside, she obviously had major issues physically because her hands were not quite right and her speech was a little off. All I could think when looking at her was how inspirational she was. She was probably ecstatic to be ABLE to work while whiners like rickyb constantly complain about HAVING to work and wanting everything free.

I have an autistic nephew who always require care. He has a job at a supermarket preparing carts for others to fill for home delivery.

It gives him a purpose. Everyone needs a purpose in life. My foster brother is mentally challenged and he has been a janitor at a mall for many years. He’s always loved going to work and the people working there love interacting with him. Goodness knows how many “girlfriends” he has. Lol.
