Personally, I feel like she got what she deserved although I have to say that words alone should never be a reason for an escalation of violence. She probably will sue Popeyes and win, because the person who slammed her was an employee and it's the deep pockets syndrome. Vicarious liability and Popeyes assumed it.

You’re right, I will never fully understand because I’m not black. What I do understand is this man will be either jailed or sued or both. It’s on video of him assaulting another person when they were in no way a threat. I’m not arguing that the woman isn’t trashy as hell, she is. But if he would have let it go, he wouldn’t be getting sued for everything he has.
You're right she didn't deserve that, but that single word is probably the one word that incites violence more than any other.
