It’s so sad how many people are having a hard time feeding their families nowadays. I’m sure it can’t be easy for a lot of them to take the help.

Well... I wouldn't say all of these people are having a hard time. More they like free food.

I've seen a lot of nice cars coming through.

Food banks have to keep track of who they give food to because the people will try to go to several places to keep getting free food.

This was more of a organizing effort disguised as a food drive. It was sent out to union families.

Vermont is very nice. A lot like here, but even more rural, or at least less populated.

Actually it's going to be 2 boxes per family. Those are just the dry goods. The others are in a refrigerated truck.

To union families. Teamster and UFCW. It was actually set up as a organizing effort for a meat packing plant. So organizers could chat them up get info about the plant, names, numbers and judge the kind of support the union would get when trying to organize them.

They only got about 60 families to RSVP. So the Teamsters and UFCW sent it out to members as well because we had enough for 500 families.
