Maggie Valley was a nice little town the time we were there

We went to Bat Cave, Chimney Rock and Lake Lure yesterday. My favorite was Chimney Rock. Lake Lure was looking a little sad because they had done a “drawdown”, aka drained the lake 12 feet, for maintenance and to allow people who have houses on the lake to do any maintenance on docks and boat houses.
