The struggle is real. I put cash offers on three different places and was outbid all three times.

Even rentals are near impossible to find. People I work with have tried to put their names on waiting lists for apartments and the waiting lists have some many people they were cut off. Other people are being forced out of their rentals because the landlords raised their rents so high they can’t afford the new rent and can’t find anywhere to live. Crazy times here.

It's insane. My house is 3k away from 1 million. There is absolutely no way it's worth that! I so wish I could retire right now and sell.

My question is why even consider buying right now? I'd be saving money and waiting for it to drop because you know it's going to.

Lots of people. Houses are selling like crazy here. Im not sure how or even why people would be paying these prices but the whole work from home thing did something. I know my wife's work goes by state for salary. So I'm assuming everyone from NorCal is coming down here and buying because it's much nicer than SF/Oakland/San Jose.
