I went to see the Elvis movie tonight. I forgot he died so young, only 42 years old. What a sad life he lived due to the manipulation by his manager. Almost 45 years after his death, and he is still the best selling artist of all time.

Your comment made me have to read up on him (he was before my time). It’s funny that he was majorly anti-drug most of his adult life until he got hooked on prescription drugs. Even then, he didn’t equate prescription drug addiction to common street drug addiction. It’s still sad how he was treated by his manager. That guy financially ripped him off big time, among other things.

That generation didn't associate prescription drugs with illegal drugs. Doctors were gods.
