Our local airport (Albany International) is a medium sized facility that just happens to have the only Chick-fil-a (for now) in the area; however, it is beyond the TSA screening area so, yes, you have to buy an airplane ticket if you want to go to the Capital Region Chick-Fil-A. There is also a parking area dedicated to people who like to sit there and watch departures and arrivals.
