What I'd get wouldn't work for you.

I get lite dual purpose breeds that can handle heat

You need cold hardy

Pay attention to that

Decide if you want good layers, broody bitches, or egg/meat birds (dual purpose). And yours should be cold hardy.

Stay away from silkies or bantams

Small eggs and PITA birds
