Hey Hoak. You’re not flooded out are you?

No but many of friends and family lost a lot material things. Everyone is safe which is the important thing.
My hometown of Bainbridge is impassible now and Mexico Beach is where my family had beach homes and several of my friends as well. They lost everything of course.
I help teach a photography workshop in Appalachicola every year in the 2nd week of November. Not this year!
The oystermen in this area lead a tenuous existence and the oyster beds are destroyed.

These are a few images of the oyster boats and men I captured there in better days.
