Oh, I will bring this up for the rest of our lives. We were both going to be cremated and scattered but I might just get buried just so I can get a headstone detailing this atrocity. If she goes first, she's getting the headstone.

Well, my answer isn't what most would answer, but old cop habits ya know. I would open enough to look around to make sure nothing looked afoul, call out to see if anyone was around, then if everything looked alright and if my spidey sense weren't raging, I would just close the door.

If anything seemed off in the slightest, not carrying a weapon anymore, I would pull off a short distance to be able to keep an eye on the premises to make sure I was a good witness if anyone came out, or anything happened, and call the cops to do a health and welfare check on the home and the occupants.

But, that's just me.

I called the number on the package but it was the house phone. Then I went to the side of the house and yelled in case someone was in the back yard. No answer. I went to neighbors house and told her. I wasn’t touching anything, but didn’t want to just walk away because there are always lots of landscapers and contractors in the neighborhood.

I generally don’t think about these things until I’m in the vehicle and gone.


I’ve had a few times where I delivered to a door slightly open with keys still in the door and it’ll be long after before I think anything could have been wrong.


I’m generally an optimist and my brain just doesn’t jump to bad scenario conclusions very often at all

My wife has a terrible fear of the bugs eating her.

So with that same thought, any pictures on the walls of schools on Indian reservations that glorify battles won by them and demeaning White people should be removed? After all, they could be conceived as traumatic to White people.
