Its taken me almost 3 weeks to get my kingdom ready for winter. Then again I don't work very fast.

Get a battery clipper!. Make forms out of 1x2's. Makes trimming the boxwood fast and easy. Use a big tarp. One trip and done! You get a uniformed look. Always trim the op more narrow than the bottom. This way light hits the bottom.

Another way is to hammer pipes at the level you want to trim at. Run a rope as a guide. Th pipes will stay in the ground.
