I have a house just north of there in NC.
It is a medium-small town but not real small.
The traffic is atrocious when any big events are going on.
It is on the southern end of Lake Chatuge which is formed by a damming of the Hiawassee River.
There are a variety of eateries and shopping there.
It is fairly close to Helen, GA which is a Germany Alpine style tourist attraction.

Where in NC? I’ve been looking around Henderson County but the prices are skyrocketing there.

Where I’m living right now isn’t working for me. I love the area but prices here are through the roof now also. So, I thought maybe I could live in the mountains and fly here when I need the Florida sun.
