I have to assume Saturday next year will be a full ground operation and Sunday a short air day just as this year for most centers was just air on Saturday.

Pretty much what I expect.


I can only imagine the whining on here to work that Saturday.

Me too, but in our case they dispatched every driver regardless of seniority.

Blatant contract violation, and our BA was there to remind us that we were under no obligation to work and that failure to report could not be considered an occurence, but we showed up and got the work done anyway.

Grievances will be filed, with the result that there will be a sign-up list next year, per the contract.

The only reason it didn't work the first time was because there was no Amazon. And it won't take as long as
5 or 6 years either. I'd have no problem with a Tues. through Sat. bid. Heck I wouldn't even have a problem with a
Wed. thru Sun. bid. Weekend work will be alot less physical than weekday work in package car.
