An NBC News crew was ordered under mandatory quarantine for possible Ebola infection after the network’s chief medical correspondent was allegedly spotted on a food run to a New Jersey restaurant, according to a report.

Dr. Nancy Snyderman and her crew had agreed to a voluntary quarantine when they returned to the United States from West Africa last week following their exposure to a cameraman who contracted the deadly virus.

But Snyderman, who lives in Princeton, NJ, was spotted outside the Peasant Grill in nearby Hopewell on Thursday afternoon, according to Planet Princeton. Snyderman, who was wearing sunglasses and had her long hair pulled back, waited while a man went inside the eatery to pick up a takeout order, Planet reported.
Another man was sitting in the back seat, according to the local news blog.

A spokeswoman for the New Jersey Department of Health said there was no need to decontaminate the restaurant or warn anyone who was inside because the CDC says people without Ebola symptoms aren’t contagious.

“The NBC crew remains symptom-free, so there is no reason for concern of exposure to the community,” spokeswoman Dawn Thomas said.

The incubation period after exposure to Ebola can last 21 days, and the mandatory quarantine order runs until Oct. 22.

Snyderman did not immediately return a call seeking comment. An NBC spokeswoman declined to comment.

Ebola-stricken cameraman Ashoka Mukpo is being treated in Nebraska.

The highly respected Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP) at the University of Minnesota just advised the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) that “there is scientific and epidemiologic evidence that Ebola virus has the potential to be transmitted via infectious aerosol particles,” including exhaled breath.

Nurses Union: Duncan Not Put In Isolation, Waste Piled Nearly Up to Ceiling

CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta reported on further allegations made by a nurses union that Dallas Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan was not put into isolation, allowed his blood to circulate through the hospital’s tube system, and that waste “piled up nearly to the ceiling” inside patient’s rooms on Tuesday’s “CNN Tonight.”
Gupta said that the National Nurses United stated that they were informed by nurses that “Mr. Duncan was not in isolation. He was not in isolation for several hours, despite the fact that a nursing supervisor asked that he go into isolation, and that he may have come in contact with seven patients at that time.”

The also claimed, “the blood, the laboratory blood that was taken from Mr. Duncan was sent through the hospital tube system…and the concern is that tube system could potentially become contaminated as a result of the fact that this blood with Ebola was circulating through it.”

All the fancy- medical places talk a big game, but walking the walk is a whole different story.

The CDC head guy trying to be re-assuring in his drone voice......thinks he's lulling people to sleep.

Another worker comes down with ebola.....who didn't follow the CDC rules? Maybe the CDC doesn't know ALL the ways ebola is spread.
