Listening to that for 4 years...why do you think Europe is tanking? For going down the same path we are on. You claim to know about whats going on in Europe, but you dont know why they have taken austerity measures? BANKRUPT...look beyond the end of your nose and we all could benefit.

Wrong again. We are not Europe. We still have time to avoid that scenario. You've bought into a ficticious narrative, the same one that had Romney winning last week. The one that paints Obama as an enemy to Wall Street even with folks like Geithner and Summers at the helm. Your narrative is simply scarce on facts.

what you FAIL to understand about the differences between a country like GREECE and the USA is that GREECE is not a MONETARY producing nation. It does not print CASH. It has to rely on the EU for funding. It does not produce goods, drill oil, drill gas or export products.
It is a pure consumption country. The USA prints its own CASH and produces goods and exports goods, along with many natural resources.
While the republicans have attempted to turn the USA into a consumption nation by exporting jobs and companies, The democrats have done everything in their power to stop them.
By losing this election, we stopped Romney from signing anymore FREE TRADE AGREEMENTS with other countries that would have taken even more jobs and companies to foriegn countries.
Catapillar has lobbied since George W. maroon to get a FREE TRADE DEAL with south america so they can shut down all their factories here and build all their heavy products in south america because of third world labor rates.
Thats how you create a GREECE.
Keeping jobs here, making it more expensive for American companies to build overseas and import them back to the USA is the only way to keep jobs in america.
Turning america into a total consumption nation, then forcing serious austerity programs on the people would eventually destroy the USA.

We have not implemented the austerity that Europe has and has hamstrung their economy. That is the "cure" you prescribe.
