I thought it was kind of silly. That Sherman would have been toast about a thousand times over. Don't forget its nickname of Ronson Lighter.

Tommy cooker, that’s what the Germans called them. It took 3-4 Sherman’s to take out a Tiger. But we had the numbers to do it. The tactics shown in the movie were pretty accurate. Took balls though.

It took 3 or 4 to get one tank close enough behind the Tiger to hit the only weak spot. And yeah we beat the Germans with mass production instead of trying to produce very few better ones.
