I thought it was only going to be 1 first rounder, and maybe a little something else.I would be too.......you get a younger QB with the same skills and 2 first round picks.........it’s a no brainer

I was thinking more Herschel Walker, if they make good draft picks. Not holding my breath, though. This trade ranks up there with the Houston trading Hopkins to Arizona deal.
the draft picks are a bonus for the almost even swap of QBs.I was thinking more Herschel Walker, if they make good draft picks. Not holding my breath, though.
I read it’s a 2021 3rd round pick and a 1st round 2022 and 2023. I could be wrong. That’s what rotoworld has on there site.I thought it was only going to be 1 first rounder, and maybe a little something else.
That's what I heard too. Crazy.I read it’s a 2021 3rd round pick and a 1st round 2022 and 2023. I could be wrong. That’s what rotoworld has on there site.
I’d be willing to bet that contract will be renegotiated. The draft picks are nice for Detroit, but they're also stuck with 110 million in guaranteed money to Goff. I still think they got the better end of this deal.
Maybe, but what incentive does Goff have to renegotiate? The money is guaranteed, even if the Lions cut him they still have to pay him every cent.I’d be willing to bet that contract will be renegotiated.
True. I guess we will see. I’m sure Stafford still has guaranteed money on the table.Maybe, but what incentive does Goff have to renegotiate? The money is guaranteed, even if the Lions cut him they still have to pay him every cent.
I "think" the Lions have already paid him most if not all the money he was guaranteed when he signed the contract back in 2017. There might still be some left but it's a drop in the bucket compared to Goff's.True. I guess we will see. I’m sure Stafford still has guaranteed money on the table.
Yea I don’t know either.....I didn’t feel like looking it up...lol.I "think" the Lions have already paid him most if not all the money he was guaranteed when he signed the contract back in 2017. There might still be some left but it's a drop in the bucket compared to Goff's.
I’m not so sure........playing Seattle,SF and Ariz twice a year won’t be easy.Much harder to win in Detroit. 5 wins in Detroit is the same as 12 wins in LA.
I heard it was only 1 more year guaranteed. Idk.Maybe, but what incentive does Goff have to renegotiate? The money is guaranteed, even if the Lions cut him they still have to pay him every cent.
Those draft picks might be worth more in the long run.I heard it was only 1 more year guaranteed. Idk.
Go hawksI’m not so sure........playing Seattle,SF and Ariz twice a year won’t be easy.
Fat contract until 2022 when Detroit can cut their losses if necessaryIt' about NOW for the Rams! Time will tell. Yaay, Gofful is gone. Somehow, he got a fat contract and became worse.
You think they would have learned after Todd Gurley. It' about NOW for the Rams! Time will tell. Yaay, Gofful is gone. Somehow, he got a fat contract and became worse.
