If you wanted to be in TEAMCARE why didn't you just say so. Healthcare needed to get done this contract and even you thought a MOU and carve out couldn't get done in such a short period of time. Like I said Pension contributions are negotiated in 2 years (2018 contract) so your 5 year analogy is bunk because even you with all your self righteousness can not foresee the future. Please go back and look at what your pension contributions were when you started UPS and you will be shocked. Not only were they low but there were also limits on how monies got into the fund. Just make sure that when the IBT does it's survey for the 2018 contract we all ask for higher pension contributions.
You being the judge of brightness and understanding how things play out in context are not your strong points. Stick to shaking pom poms for TDU girl.

What a load of crap! The "court order review board"? Are you talking about the Independent Review Board? The IRB does not have, and never did have, the authority to impose a jail sentence. The most extreme penalty they can impose is a lifetime ban. They could not have offered a ban in lieu of jail in return for testimony. The IRB hearing was in July of '98 and Carey was banned. In January of '01 he was indicted by the U.S. District Court Southern District on 7 counts of perjury. He was found NOT Guilty by a jury of his peers in October of '01.

The reason for that election was some Old Guard cronies lied about Carey to get him removed from the Teamster Presidency, becuase they couldn't beat him in 2 elections.

Local 952 had every property including vehicles paid off and over $900,000 in CDs. PK has destroyed that local.
The "carve-out" isn't anywhere near the company plan the Southwest enyoyed.
It's costing us $1040 for an inferior plan with all kinds of issues. While Timmid Tim's daddy in Oregon gets $11.10 into his pension, we're stuck at $9.85. How many Southwest members know that?
