We had a meeting today with our Senior Manager about us topped out folks not getting a raise. Amongst other things discussed, he stated that our location is spending $200,000 a month on contract drivers.

For all I know about a situation in that specific location, it may be cheaper to do it that way. I know absolutely nothing about that location.

We are paying $60k month to have 2 to 3 contractors run mail freight 100 miles to the hub. We don't have the bodies to do it ourselves. We have like 9 new drivers coming in over the next 6 months so they hope to eliminate those contractors and plug a few other holes.
