Future Speculation

So that would mean that now it is nothing? Boarded up? All employees sent packing?
A wing of it, the Clinton Global Initiative, shut down in January. Donations have dried up. Google the Clinton Foundation for some interesting articles. Adjust to last month on search tools reveals some recent breaking controversy. They may have done good work but considering the donors, and half got special access to Hillary, it still looks like a front for influence peddling. There was an Irish billionaire who got the cellphone concession to Haiti(in the aftermath of the earthquake)after giving I believe it was 10 million to the foundation. Bill interceded on his behalf, and personally emceed an event there that he got a big fee for. That contract was worth many times what he donated. The Clinton's travels were paid for by the foundation by the way, and they flew in private luxury jets, stayed in luxury hotels, ate at the finest restaurants.

It was a decision made in September, well before the surprise election results.
If things were going so well why did they close it down? And you're talking about the CGI, not the foundation. Why have the donations dried up to the foundation? Why was Huma Abedin working for both the State Dept and the foundation? Why did Russian interests give millions to the foundation after the Uranium deal was finalized? Was the Democrat nominee compromised by Russian financial interests? Seems to be a lot more there than was ever on Trump.

VT you can go on and on with your conspiracy theories and your pseudo Christian point of view but in the end you'll be back in Kansas with your health and your money gone and become another one of the thousands of Kansans who are wards of the state.

You certainly hope so.

Guys. C'mon. It's Pride month. And Eid al fitr. Ramadan Blessings. Less bickering:biggrin: But seriously. I lived in Kansas, near Junction City. It's a great American place. You can also find authentic Viet and Korean food from G.I.'s bringing spouses over and setting up shop. Even rub and tug places as well. 30$ with tip. But I would rather be waking up in Mexico.
Can we all just agree that Government is business as usual. Like a Goldman Sachs point of view. Who sends candidates and funds to both parties. Doesn't matter what goes down, what matters is who is paid. Present day, there isn't much to conserve as a Republican. And there isn't much to preserve for the working folk on the left.

I just want to make friends!
I'm not trying to get him impeached but I am all for finding out what the Trump/Putin thing is about. I'm guessing that thing is about money and I want to know he isn't compromised when making international decisions. There is no way to say there is "no there there". It's obvious there is.

Please. The left started up the nonsense about all sorts of Trump/Russia links and has been chasing the story to the point of parody. What began as a promise to prove clear and direct ties between Trump and Russia has reached the point to where it's a case of "We're pretty sure that Trump has some sort of something, in some manner, with something related to Russia in some way. He should prove himself innocent."

That's an interesting thing about military bases. We were in Sierra Vista, AZ for awhile, home of Ft.Huachuca, Army Intelligence H.Q.. Had excellent Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese there.

Actually I think it started with the president breaking with tradition and not showing his tax returns they even other republicans said he should. Then it was accentuated with the president's chummy relationship with Putin. Finally, his son almost bragged about Russian funding.

When it finally comes out, you, @newfie, and @Monkey Butt can come back and explain how, "we'll Obama did it!"

In other words, a witch hunt predicated only on the fact that he broke "tradition", and that he won. That, and your mommy couldn't kiss your bo-bo and make the bad man go away!
