Tyson joins Caterpillar and Boeing in ditching Chicago amid crime wave

The chicken giant made the announcement Wednesday, revealing it's bringing together its employees at its global headquarters in Arkansas, and closing down its office in Downtown Chicago.

Not to doubt the crime issue but Boeing as the "headquarters" in Chicago was a sham. They took a ton of incentives, put like 300 executives in a tower while most continued in Seattle or DC. Once the free money ran out they bolted.

Tyson also might have moved but their offices were in a decent suburb. They also might have moved because of crime and taxes: but most likely it was to get closer to processing and the Wal Mart headquarters.

What about the decent law abiding citizens who didn’t vote for lil Beetlejuice or the other misfits running Chicago in to the ground? I assume you’re okay with them having their lives destroyed?

That's just it, most people in Chicago that voted did vote for their current leadership. Classic case of getting what they deserve. Unfortunately the minority that didn't vote for them have to suffer too.

In the runoff election is was 386,000 votes for Lightfoot and 137,000 for her opponent. There are 1.5 million registered voters in a city of 2.6 million people.

I know you don't care about any of them so why do I even say anything?

If you noticed I didn't say all registered voters voted. I said that of those who voted most voted for their current leadership. It's pretty rare in a free democracy to get most registered voters to vote.

I'm not ok with it...

But...

I also can't make grown people realize they can do better by changing their surroundings.

Furthermore, I wouldn't live within those city limits or close to it.

For tax purposes and other laws of the land I don't agree with of course.

Perhaps
