Well, that's great to know, but what I mean is: while the paperwork takes weeks to process, coverage starts the date of the wedding. My wife and I actually eloped and had a JP wed us months early, so she could go to the doc.

She has to apply to it. Send her marriage license in to insurance and it starts in the first of the month
