My wife grew up in the projects in New Orleans and still listens to rap and hiphop. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard for me. I've heard a few over the years that I liked but not the hardcore stuff. I like singing and great musical instrument playing.

i respect it and i agree it could be less commercialized

these fools think its a black culture thing, i say its an american culture thing and even more broadly a capitalist thing
