Actually small nomadic tribes in low numbers existed in what is now South Africa when Dutch settlers started arriving in the 1600's. Eventually British settlers arrived too after Great Britain seized control of the region. As settlers moved north they eventually ran into and had conflict with large groups moving south from the African interior. Most notably the Zulu. About 500 Dutch farmers in the Battle of Blood River defeated about 10,000 Zulus led by Shaka Zulu who had overrun the southern quarter of the continent. The Dutch had guns. This led to white dominance of what eventually became South Africa as well as Rhodesia to the north, now known as Zimbabwe. The British eventually gave independence to South Africa and since those of Dutch descent outnumbered the British, and blacks weren't allowed to vote, the Dutch, known at that point as Afrikaners, controlled the government and instituted the policy of apartheid in about 1948 if I remember right.

I gave this little history lesson because while absolutely it was wrong what they did you should also be aware that any hope of prosperity lies in the already established farms that are mostly white owned and managed. The whites know how to farm while land being seized and being redistributed to poor blacks who don't know how is bringing the country.to the edge of disaster. All one has to do is look at the exact same thing that's already happened to Zimbabwe just to the north. Hyperinflation and incredible hardship. Not to mention a lot of murdered white farmers.

Is payback sweet when you cut off your nose to spite your face?

If a person who is into animals (bestiality) appeared in a Bud Light commercial in a way that left no doubt the person was having sex with their dog while enjoying a Bud Light, would it be considered "bigoted" by you if someone considered that wrong?
