Do you really think that the Florida pension fund has so little diversity that a minor drop in stock price for 1 stock caused unbelievable damage?

Or is it more likely that Desantis moving the funds into high fee low yield hedge funds caused the issues?

And if the Florida pension was so reliant on bud light stock why is the governor telling everyone to boycott it? Where's the logic in that?

I'm not aware he was telling everyone to boycott it. I do know that if a pension fund is heavily invested in any stock they have a right to question the corporate officers as to why they made moves that hurt the stock price. What's troubling is you apparently think corporations should be allowed to do anything without question. And yes I'm aware DeSantis is running for president and is likely using this issue to advance his own agenda. If it's a legitimate beef that'll come out. Those that run to the defense of anything their side approved of often end up looking foolish and the issue mysteriously goes away. We'll see how this goes.

DeSantis is saying any corporation that does anything Republicans don't like, will now be investigated by the state for supposedly breaching responsibility to shareholders, because of potential revenue loss from Republicans not buying their products.

You forget that pension funds invest for the dividends. Extremely low or no profits means no dividends for the stockholders.
