The bigger picture shows a generation of potential union membership that has no clue of the sacrifices made and jobs put on the line to build what we have today.

It is the biggest problem we have (voting stats verify it) and Lead Belly, your local is strong as steel but many aren't and it's rotting out from the bottom imo.

I know you are a great brother and strong in your local. I can say you are extremely loyal to the IBT leadership and your local president, et al, and for good reason....because they support you and your membership.

Many of us are envious of your local's solidarity.

That was supposed to be a joke.
It quite often gets personal on here. It's wrong but it's typical of strong union members that stand up for their beliefs. Kinda like Ohio State vs Michigan (scum ) football used to be.
If we can remember that it's mostly entertainment with cheer leading involved with the IBT elections posts it'll be easier for all... otherwise it's going to be a long year.
