I made it a point to ask a few people today while I was out running routes. I got a few chuckles, a few "hmmm, I'm not sure", and a few yes they are sandwiches.

I've been known to spread a slice of bread with peanut butter and put a banana (whole) in it like a hot dog.

Questionable meat and meat by-products, ground up and stuffed into an artificial tube, boiled, steamed, fried or grilled, and then ensconced in an elongated, spongy bread-like product is not, nor shall ever be, a sandwich.

It's just a freaking hot dog!
