Pretty certain on the screenshot you posted it says with no beneficiary. Might not tell the wife about that or you will have falconed your last fart.
You scroll down the page and it gives you every option. I just did a screen shot of the top part, no way to get the entire screen at once.
You said it was fake anyway and I altered the Fedex Retirement website. You are definitely in denial.

OK, let's say that the company is more generous these days. When I retired we got a packet in the mail instead of having a website. Nowhere in that packet even hinted at increasing the traditional pension by waiting past 60. But I digress. You posted what you would get if you waited. If you intend to elect the survivor benefit then you intentionally led us to believe that you would get more than what that option offers. What you showed is for singles or if a spouse signs off on not getting a survivor benefit. And has the biggest payout. A 100% survivor benefit greatly reduces the monthly payment. I'm assuming you are going to leave your wife a benefit if you die first so you intentionally tried to deceive us. Guess you figured no one would look at it close enough and you could crow about how much better you're doing than the rest of us. Just be sure to read the fine print because FedEx can't always be trusted either.

LOL
You just can't accept you were wrong.. I didn't deceive anyone. I just showed the screen that was on the top of the page because that screen was about 3 pages long due to all the options. Once again you are wrong about the 100% option. It only reduces the amount by about $150 maybe $175. Even then, the increase is still almost 11% a year by waiting.

If you ask nicely and say pretty please, I will post the chart again with the 100% spouse option. It will have the same results as the chart I posted, the same % of increase, just a little less per month payment. Even then, you will argue and say it is fake or I changed the results some how.

When I selected my pension option the 100% survivor benefit drove my monthly payment down to $1000 at 55 from more than $1300. Don't remember the exact number over $1300. I took the accelerated payment of $1840 for 12 years which my wife signed off on.

You intentionally clicked on the maximum payment possible to show us how much you're going to get but knowing that wasn't the correct #. If you feel strongly about it please show us what the 100% survivor benefit looks like. Not the 50%.

The numbers on my screenshots increase by roughly 10% for every year that you delay taking your pension after you retire. I have been retired a few years and will most likely wait a total of 5 years before commencing my pension. The website will not let you go back to the day you retire to begin calculations, it will only let you use your current age, so that is why it began at 62. My break even age is roughly 72 and a month or so for my delaying plan to work. Even if I pass before that, my wife will realize the increase with her share of my pension. I am not sure I follow your math because it looks like you think I haven't retired yet.
You made a point to say that the numbers on your screenshot were what you were going to get then back peddled when called on it. The above is your post. Nowhere did you say you're getting less with another option. Can't imagine why I don't trust you.

Nope I said the screenshots showed the increases. Once again, you didn't speak the truth.

Oh darn, when I scroll down to 100% spouse, the page won't show the age that amount represents. The area to the right showing the age you are requesting to commence your pension goes away. The page is so long and the 100% is so far down the page, the age screen scrolls up an isn't visible with the 100% option. If I told you what age each amount represented, you would deny the existence of the increase. Either way, you denied there was an increase in the pensions by waiting, I presented you with undeniable truth and you still deny the increase is indeed there. Sad

Just enjoy making tex lose sleep over the matter. He keeps thinking of new ways to deny the pension increases are there.

Nope, look at what you posted. The 4 screenshots all showed the highest amount you could get if you took that particular option at that year of age. You never said anything about other options until I pointed it out. You aren't getting that much unless you cheat your wife.

Sure it does. Just tell us the amount you'll get with the 100% survivor option. We'll have to just have faith that you'll be truthful.

You tried to manipulate us into believing you're getting more than you actually are. That's not just sad, it's pathetic.

I posted screenshots and you are in denial. The screenshots proved beyond a doubt the increase is there. Because the website won't show the 100% option along with the age, you again deny the increase is there. All I know is my pension will be about 80% of my best years salary going back to '03 or so. You and cactus will just have to lose sleep because once again, I win. Sweet

The 4 screenshots confirmed the increase. The increase is there for every option, 100%, 75%, 50% on and on. Even the SS Leveling. You lose and once again, I win. Sweet

Nope, you tried to slide the highest amount by us as the amount you'd get. Very deceptive but what else is new?
