I have not thought deeply about my own thread. I just wanted to give all an opportunity for ideas
as we all complain about how things are.
But the below is so factual and funny, yet very sad.
The Congress and Senate set up, over the years, the tax laws.
The left was sooooooooooo indignant of Romney using them during the campaign.
Now Carl Levin D-MI of the Congress has the Apple CEO explain why Apple uses the law and codes
set up by Congress and the Senate.
We need a total tax revamp in the US for all. From greatest to smallest.
Rand Paul: "Congress should be on trial" - not Apple
Apple employs 600,000 people in the U.S. and is the largest corporate taxpayer in the country.
Last year alone, the company paid $6 billion in taxes. This year they expect to pay $7 billion.
But, that's not enough for some members of Congress. Sen. Carl Levin (D-MI) hauled
the Apple CEO Tim Cook in front of the Homeland Security and Government Affairs
Subcommittee which he chairs and berated him as a "tax dodger."

I agree his comment was uncalled for but i thought you righties believed the 47% who are on food stamps and "free" entitilements DONT PAY TAXES!! But then again logic never got in the way of anyone's reactionary rant before.

Also the Present Tax code is fair --and the IRS is an agency we all can put our full faith and trust in.

Sure . After I read it --I will then spend my day day listening to MSNBC as they rave about Obama's prom picture while never mentioning Benghazi, IRS or AP scandal --never mind ignoring the murderer Dr Gosnel.
Or better yet -listen to another Obama speech about Gitmo --while he diverts all attention off the scandals he claims- knows nothing about !!!

Only from private citizens and only up to $5000 per person.
You have 10X the amount of population - that should be enough funding !
