Would be nice to have a purpose built shop agajn.

Let's hope so. The mechanic at my old center always had to contend with the sort parking all around him while he was working on, under and around the PC's. Outside area, totally unsecured too..and close to several taverns. Before we used to pull the keys we had the occasional drunk try to figure out how to open the doors to get in. Lucky they never could.

They even wanted him to drive to a remote car to change oil etc in the ing snow! He told them he'd quit first, which he eventually did. He also had to fill in for the vacationing mechanic 40 miles away and vice versa.

Yeah, I haven't officially started driving yet..I just passed training so it'll be a while.

we were told this building is hiring 1200 people for peak. Then it is going to be fully automated with not many jobs. They just couldn't do all that before peak. I'm just hoping my local gets jurisdiction since a ton of feeder work should migrate here.
