I still haven’t seen any press release on this yet or any information are we sure this actually happened?

Our PE (Plant Engineering, ie Building Maintenance) guys are IAM. I asked him yesterday if they got a contract extension or what. He told me their master and all supplements were ratified.

I cannot find anything online either, but he wouldn’t lie and they are working, not on strike.

Our Maintenance guy said that they got the same raises we did, they eliminated the seasonal workers clause, maintained the pension contributions and health and welfare, and did OK overall.

He did say that 1 local was actually forced out of the IAM Pension Fund into the Teamster Pension fund though. They have around 75 members.

LMAO. I was a 22.5 a couple days ago. Grabbed misloads off other drivers for half the shift and delivered them. Only downside is I didn't load them in the truck. 🫤🫤🫤

Sounds decent, I'm glad they kept their benefits. I wonder how that's gonna work paying into a teamsters pension when they're IAM.
