Cool completely irrelevant post buddy.
Wow, bacha looks eerily like Trump.
Just because you can't accept the administration's stated refusal to compensate families doesn't mean it's a lie. When the law suits start flying then we'll see how it responds. In the meantime the matter remains unresolved. That is a lie.
There never was one. And one of the hot button issues heading into 2022 is the rapidly increasing cost of prescriptions, the scores of people in their mid to late 50's who seek to buy into Medicare and the staggering cost prescription hearing aids..
They didn't state that.Just because you can't accept the administration's stated refusal to compensate families doesn't mean it's a lie.
I could see this BS if you were multilingual and traveled for cultural, educational and or professional purposes. But, you gave yourself up when your first, last and everything in between reasons for going was purely for economic reasons only. If not then you would bring your family along with you. They were here illegally. And as has been pointed out before if someone breaks the law they are put in jail and separated from their kids. And as the pics show from 2014 the Obama administration was doing this also. Please tell me how it's justified to pay that kind of money when military families who lose a loved one only get $100k?
I've traveled to 13 countries so far. I love travel and gladly do it. You think the world lives in cardboard boxes and eats excrement to survive. You have no clue. When I was recently in Oaxaca, Mexico along with local restaurants I ate at McDonald's, Burger King, Pizza Hut, and Domino's. Went to a modern theater to watch American movies in English. In three months I was approached by only two people asking for a handout. People get up and go to work at regular jobs and live in homes and dress nicely. Much nicer on average than young Americans. You simply have no clue as to how the world lives and probably wouldn't like it there because their culture demands that people make their own way by working. They take pride in their appearance and their work ethic. And have very strong families. The horror. Yes there is poverty. About 40% of Mexicans live below the poverty line. That means 60% live ok on up to fabulously well. Those that live below that line scramble to work at anything that might provide some income. Those are the ones typically who decide to try the U.S. I don't blame them for coming, I would do the same. But notice they don't all come. Most prefer their own circumstances to heading north. And many Mexicans who do go north send money home to family to build homes and start businesses. And ultimately return home. You think they're all dying to get to the land of milk and honey so that they can live off government handouts. If you haven't noticed much of the hard work done these days is by Mexicans and other Latin Americans who see work as what you do to support your family, not something beneath you that your dignity won't allow you to do. All I've ever said is control the border so you know who is coming in. Root out the criminal element because not all Latin Americans are hard working decent people. They have a criminal element too and those people need to be removed. And instead of putting a huge strain on an already overburdened social services system have a guest worker program that keeps families in their home countries while a parent works here. They have a family support system at home that takes care of things. Those who are against allowing them in for any reason don't seem to understand how dependent we've become on that labor. With a guest worker program businesses that can't find local workers to do a job, and they have to demonstrate they can't, can bring in needed workers. That would be better than paying illegals a lot less to do work Americans WILL do, like construction for example, but now Americans are screwed out of work by people who are willing to work for less and employers who take advantage of that. You can spit and foam at the mouth all you want but there are numerous ways to do things better than the current letting in millions of unvetted people including criminals and putting it all on the American taxpayer to support them, taking away jobs taxpayers need.
As for Argentina, they are 85% Caucasian. 52% of the population is of Italian ancestry. 25% of Spanish ancestry. The rest of varying European countries included of British and Irish ancestry. Che' Guevera was half Irish. And there are some of native American ancestry, especially up near Bolivia. The country isn't a third world developing nation. It's a first world nation with severe financial problems. Why? They practice a form of socialism named after the former president Juan Peron, Peronism. Argentina once per capita was the richest country on Earth. Why do you think all those Europeans immigrated there? But they have pretty much destroyed that. And need tourists to come in, expats to come there, and bring hard currency. I'm not going to live it up. Going there to save. When the time comes will get a nice apartment and spend most of my income there. And guess what? Your ancestors came to the U.S. for the opportunity also. If having a decent life in the U.S. for many is no longer feasible then people can do exactly what your ancestors did, leave and go where they hope to have it better. For me that's Argentina. They still have a beautiful country with great food and strong families. They abhor violence for the most part and overall it's safer than the U.S. And I know it pains you, but the state doesn't own me. I'm free to go where I please. Left up to you I'd be trapped in the States working on my neuropathic feet until I drop dead. Take your autocratic tendencies elsewhere.
No, he simply doesn't know what he's talking about. They didn't state that.
Are you lying on purpose?
You're the one who says they will pay. Now where did you come across this information and who corroborates it?They didn't state that.
Are you lying on purpose?
I'm saying you're lying. You're the one who says they will pay.
So where does this $450,000 figure that has conservative hardliners hopping mad come from? Look at what he's saying..."some kind of compensation" Clearly he's leaving the door open to an out of court settlement as a way out of the mess Trump created. As for specific amounts , SAY NOTHING until the other party makes a first move. In the meantime "should" doesn't always mean "will" . He's simply allowing the litigation process be the guide. Look first to see how strong the plaintiffs case is and what might be agreeable to the courts in terms of an out of court settlement. And BTW this is exactly the route Ground took in their multi state class action lawsuit. No, he simply doesn't know what he's talking about.
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden said Saturday that the families of children separated from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border during the Trump administration should be compensated, as his Department of Justice is in settlement talks with affected families.
Raising his voice, Biden said that regardless of the circumstances, people who had their children taken from them under the Trump administration’s family separation policy, meant to deter families from crossing into the U.S. illegally, should be remunerated.
“If, in fact, because of the outrageous behavior of the last administration, you coming across the border, whether it was legally or illegally, and you lost your child — You lost your child. It’s gone — you deserve some kind of compensation, no matter what the circumstance,” Biden said.
The Biden administration has made it clear that it has no plans to compensate families for the separation
LMFAOSo where does this $450,000 figure that has conservative hardliners hopping mad come from? Look at what he's saying..."some kind of compensation"
Read it and weep.Just because you can't accept the administration's stated refusal to compensate families doesn't mean it's a lie. When the law suits start flying then we'll see how it responds. In the meantime the matter remains unresolved.
My stepdaughter, 29, is in college and my wife is joining me after her SS starts and the daughter graduates. But again, you don't believe in individual freedom unless you already have wealth. We must conform to what the elites want, which you see yourself as an elite. And I speak a fair bit of Spanish.I could see this BS if you were multilingual and traveled for cultural, educational and or professional purposes. I don't normally post on politics but couldn't help correcting bacha. Biden gave specifics on the amounts he want to pay in a news conference. Biden and a reporter got into a heated discussion when the reporter question Biden with his $ amounts. It is there if you Google it and the 450k was indeed suggested by Biden. So where does this $450,000 figure that has conservative hardliners hopping mad come from? Ironic that @bacha29 criticizes you for traveling to another country for a better life, but defends immigrants from the other Americas for doing the same thing. My stepdaughter, 29, is in college and my wife is joining me after her SS starts and the daughter graduates. But again, you don't believe in individual freedom unless you already have wealth. We must conform to what the elites want, which you see yourself as an elite. And I speak a fair bit of Spanish.
Left wing playing with words after getting caught planning to give taxpayer money to illegals. Sickos.
The Biden administration has made it clear that it has no plans to compensate families for the separation and detention that occurred during 2017 and 2018 stating that there was no truth or basis behind the story regarding such payments.
I love it, you're arguing with yourself and inserting all sorts of gibberish that only serves to make your point even sillier, and managing to tie it to Ground is the cherry on top!Look at what he's saying..."some kind of compensation" Clearly he's leaving the door open to an out of court settlement as a way out of the mess Trump created.
