Is there a policy for unpaid time off if not sick from COVID?

I’m stressing out because my husband is having to go back to work tomorrow after being out on vacation, and this has all gotten so bad since then. I’m very worried about what the outcome would be if he ends up with this, as he has a bad heart condition and I’m afraid this could kill him if he comes down with it. Does anyone know if there’s anything in place to let employees at risk stay home until this thing is possibly under better control? I’m so scared

I'm high risk AF, checking off several boxes. And I go to work everyday. This just in... people live, they die. There are a million ways to die and at any time. Why lose your cool over one factor?

because people are nervous, fidgety, uneasy germaphobes. i'm not saying the op's family are any of these things but in general we as a society are. Look at the toilet paper. Does this pandemic cause people to crap any more than any average week/day? No, it's a mind thing and phsycological (however u spell it). Somehow buying TP puts their minds at ease. like, now that they bought their TP they are ready to take on the zombie apocalypse.
