and yet they knowingly still entered into the contract
you cant really be free or something when you have hard choice

i was listening to yanis varoufakis, and he said if someone robs you at gun point, is that a free decision or something?

then he says if youre in the desert thirsty and someone gives you a water in exchange for everything you have, is that comparable to the first choice? he says yes.

No one held anyone at gunpoint to make them accept a school loan. Going in debt to go to college isn’t life or death. There are options (very reasonable ones too)

i dont think the govt profitting off student loans is reasonable or good economics.
I don't either necessarily but it doesn't change the fact that people willingly signed up for the loans without a gun being held to their heads. If you enter into that contract, you have to pay it back

I'm in favor of either paying off "your own" debt like everyone else does or find another way for college/trade school/apprenticeship. I didn't want to take out a huge loan so I joined the Army and got GI Bill funds in return for 3 1/2 years of military service. There are numerous ways to approach things

im sorry to hear that, i think thats a reason why they have such high student tuition because they want people to sign up for war.

i think trump declared bankruptcy a bunch of times which is effectively a debt write down.

Why would you be sorry when I'm not. I served and learned a lot about hard work, teamwork, and leadership. Not to mention I have some brothers for life now. And didn't have to borrow a penny for my college
