To me Christianity seem way more laid back. That just personal experience though.

Strict? Not as much. Fairly strict adherence to rituals though.
Oh yeah. They'll show up. Go through all the movements. Get forgiveness for all the screwed up stuff they did.
Aaaand then turn right back around to do it again.
Most of the ones I know are huge on drinking. Major alcoholics.
