Supreme court isn't elected. And It's more 3-3-3. They tried to rig 2016, but were over confident, and didn't commit enough fraud. In 2020 they focused on the presidency and 1 Senate seat from Georgia and got caught, though still trying to pretend they didn't. If they rigged things any further they'd risk stepping on the toes of people who might do something about it.

He's pointing out hypocrisy. Colbert's crew did the exact same thing as the Jan 6th crowd, but they aren't being treated the same way. Like the BLM rioters committed real crimes and got released with no bail and most charges dropped.

Are you suggesting that all those thousands of J6 rioters are now rotting in a dungeon somewhere? That all the BLM rioters were sent home and awarded medals of honor? That these seven folks, obviously looking to hang the Vice President, were likewise given preferential treatment?

And please, go back and watch the raw footage of J6. If you don’t see “real crimes”, you’re a goofball. I’ll even allow you to say that they were “invited”. But who accepts an invitation somewhere and shows up acting like that? J6 was real criminal activity.

I don’t doubt it one bit. People are strange. Look back at how elected republicans were talking right after J6. They had and have no true belief in the big lie but that won’t keep them from riding Trump fanaticism as far as it will take them.

I do mean that. Because ultimately Stewart resorted to name calling. Everyone thinks he put Tucker in his place. But Stewart no longer has the influence he once had while Tucker has the number one cable news show.
