DC mayor cant then use troops as needed to defend DC.
Pelosi can then use as needed to defend the capital.

State legislatures have the authority to make election laws, not unelected bureauroctatic partisans. The people of the states where that happened were disenfranchised.

Calls to have that addressed at the certification vote were completely legitimate and it is a legal process. That was shut down by the riot though.

The riot Democrats let happen by refusing to order additional security despite intelligence warnings. Convenient.
