I simply find the “rights” people claim to have pretty funny. I mean Bundy was trying to claim that as a citizen of the sovereign state of Nevada he wasn’t subject to the laws of the United States. Now if Nevada disagrees with that assertion, Bundy would be placing his own interpretation of his individual rights above that which he has declared sovereign. He has in fact placed himself as sovereign over the state of Nevada and the United States, literally the definition of sovereign citizen. But he didn’t call himself that so it doesn’t count. And Ted Bundy never called himself a male rapist.

It’s not a matter of semantics at all. Bundy claimed that the state had sovereignty in the matter and resisted on those grounds but didn’t declare his own sovereign territory as the hard leftists have been doing. There is a difference.
