Nickelodeon's 'Danger Force' casts first openly Trans teen for Live-Action show

WASHINGTON (SBG) - For the first time ever on its network, Nickelodeon has cast an openly trans teen to star in its show "Danger Force."

Nickelodeon has cast 13-year-old Sasha A. Cohen, to star in an upcoming episode of the live-action show "Danger Force," alongside his twin sister Natalie R. Cohen, as reported by Variety. Michael D. Cohen (no relation), who has revealed that he had transition over two decades ago, will be directing the episode.

“I want Sasha to see his own power as an actor and as a human,” Cohen told Variety. “I want him to feel proud of his work and feel really confident in himself in every aspect and to know that he will help change kids’ lives by being the first kid of trans experience on Nickelodeon in live-action.”
