Homosexuality is wrong. So is lying, stealing, murder, etc.
All wrongs effect society/families publicly/privately or both. What negative impact wrong has is subjective but it's not hard to measure or see.

Not saying all gay men are cold as ice psychopaths but it could be a factor behind prison rape or even “consensual” prison love affairs.

I also think bisexuality is a lot more common than people think, just because one half of the sexuality carries a lot of social repercussions. Most women adopt of a policy of not in my backyard when it comes to homos.
