When I was young the local VFW had some adult volunteers bring story time to the local library another time the local PBA brought story time.

Was this inappropriate for young children to be read to by adult members of the local VFW and PBA?

IMO It is the parents responsibility to decide and to protect their children.

But we're experiencing a wave of sexualizing children around the country. Exposing kids to drag queens. Talking to young children about sexual identity in schools. Sometimes you have to be very specific about what is going on and condemn it specifically.
