that’s not a bad point, and I’ll admit I didn’t think of that and it does come across a little hypocritical

What about my point on the other end of the spectrum? Is there a line you draw anywhere? Young teenagers are often very insecure. Should they be able to get nose jobs if they think their nose is too big? Should a 15 year old be able to get implants or butt lifts?

Teenagers do get plastic surgery and it’s really none of my business. I think the parents are the responsible party here. If they know their teen’s dread and stress over it then yeah get the nose job, it’s none of my business. Counseling would be good first, consulting mental health professionals, etc.

I don’t see a point in injecting religious bigotry into the field of medicine so Christians can feel like they are saving children when they are really ruining those lgbt kids lives.

My boy had plastic surgery. He was 5 years old.
He put on his superman cape, climbed on his big wheel that was on the top of the stairs, and rode down the steps until he face planted the front door.
No counseling was involved.
