I bet that UPS was just waiting for the International to come in because they did not want to give L804 the victory. Seems to have happened awfully fast after they came in. I doubt that they have that much power over UPS or we would have gotten $10/hr raise in the new contract.

Another possible cool result of the 251 getting their jobs back is with the new drivers that have been trained/are being trained, provided UPS doesn't make em all TCDs, those centers will be better staffed. Maybe take some stress off the drivers, and give time for things to cool off for management and drivers.

I wonder how long before they'll let drivers punch in early again...

Hall had to come in and help or at least appear to help. In 2016 Hall will be at the top of that slate. Sitting on his hands while 250 members were fired is no way to start a bid for president of the IBT. Dont know the details yet of who gave up what but im sure something was given up somewhere. But then that is what bargaining and negotiating is all about.

All you TDU pukes are the same spin, spin, spin.
The drivers got their jobs back. Ask their families if they care if something was given up.

Why can't you just be nice and thankful that our brothers are going back to work? This was an illegal wildcat that could have affected us all. We could have lost volume that would have affected teamster jobs. It's blatant ignorance like this that makes me sick sometimes when I'm busting my ass so hard for the members. Time and place brother time and place. I don't think your father or your fathers father would be proud of how you are acting right now. Put the drink down or put it up and toast the situation.

I assume Liam is still in Chicago laying low while the professionals clean up his mess.

Actually something was given up that will hurt this local. Liam has been banned from all UPS operations. Not sure what his status will be within the union but it seems he will no longer be allowed in a UPS facility. That is a shame. His knowledge and passion will be missed.
